Voodoos first main camp set to begin

The Powassan Voodoos are preparing to begin their first ever main camp taking place this weekend at the Powassan Sportsplex.

The Voodoos organization, which has officially signed off on its arena lease deal on Wednesday, August 20th will begin training camp with fitness tests on Friday afternoon and then follow that up with a pair of practices on Saturday and Sunday.  

On Monday afternoon, the Voodoos will play their first ever Green and White game with a 2:00 p.m. puck drop at the Powassan Sportsplex.  

On Wednesday, August 27th, the Voodoos will host their first ever exhibition game as the Cochrane Crunch make a journey south for a 2:00 p.m. matinee against the Voodoos.  

The Voodoos will conclude their training camp with a Sunday, August 31st contest at home against the visiting Blind River Beavers.  Puck drop is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.  

Admission is only $5.00 for the Green and White game and the two pre-season contests at the Powassan Sportsplex.  

Season Tickets 

Fans interested in picking up their Voodoos season tickets can do so on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.   

Cost is $226.00 for an Adult season ticket,  Seniors and Students are $169.50 and Children are $113.00.  That includes admission to all 26 regular season games at the Powassan Sportsplex in 2014-15.  

The Voodoos will be on the ice from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  

Billets

The Voodoos are also looking for 2 or 3 more billets in North Bay for the younger players who will be attending high school in North Bay.
