SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced that Saturday’s scheduled game between the Powassan Voodoos and Hearst Lumberjacks has been postponed.
The cause off the cancellation is due to a highway closure, in both directions, by the Ontario Provincial Police and a subsequent ongoing investigation.
This in turn is preventing Powassan from being able to travel to Hearst for the contest.
The match-up will be rescheduled, with the make-up date being announced by the NOJHL once it is finalized.
