NOJHL’s Thunderbirds up to 12th in latest CJHL Rankings; Voodoos’ Honourable Mention

CALGARY, Alta. – With half of the Canadian Junior Hockey League currently seeing 12 select squads competing in the Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge in Quinte West, Ont., a plethora of scouts from all levels are on hand checking out talent.

Meanwhile nationally, the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) remain on top in the weekly Top 20 rankings as they remain No. 1 in the country for yet another week.

At 21-2, Brooks has reeled off seven straight victories as the 2019 Canadian National Jr. A Championship-host Bandits remain red-hot so far this season.

Featuring three of its players taking part in the Eastern Canada Cup, the 20-2-1-1 and OJHL-leading Oakville Blades maintain their hold on the No. 2 slot in the weekly listings.

Soaring to No. 3 in the CJHL this week is the 16-1-1 Thunder Bay North Stars (SIJHL) while of note, the No. 18 Humboldt Broncos (SJHL) have won six straight to move into first overall in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
