Powassan; Timmins; Rayside-Balfour all crack CJHL Top 20 Rankings

CALGARY, Alta. – The Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL) have earned to No. 1 slot once more in the latest version of the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20 rankings, released Monday.

Through the first 56 games of their 2019-20 season, Sherwood Park sports a 47-9-0 record.

Still No. 2 nationally in the 131-team CJHL, are the Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) as they boast a 39-6-1-2 mark to pace the pack in the Maritimes.

Moving to No. 3 in the rankings this week, which are compiled by an independent scouting source, are the 47-7-4 Okotoks Oilers (AJHL).

Perennial power, the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL) jump to No. 4 in the listings as they approach a 100-point campaign while entering play this week with a record of 46-7-4-2.

Getting placed at No. 5, the Coquitlam Express (BCHL) wrapped up the regular season crown in British Columbia with a league-best 47-9-1-1 run among the 17 clubs there.

Wrapping up the Top 10 from sixth to tenth respectively are the Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL); Battlefords North Stars (SJHL); Wellington Dukes (OJHL); Brooks Bandits (AJHL) and the Oakville Blades (OJHL).
