Mike McIvor, who started the first half of the season with the Powassan Voodoos before getting called up to the OHL’s North Bay Battalion in December, has been invited to attend Anaheim Ducks rookie camp on a PTO.
The 2006 birth year netminder had a tremendous second half to the year guiding the North Bay Battalion to the Eastern Conference finals.
McIvor is the third former Voodoos netminder to attend an NHL camp including Joe Vrbetic, who was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2021, and Owen Say who attended Pittsburgh Penguins prospects camp this summer.
