CALGARY, Alta.  – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Friday that forward Gryson Reitmeier of the Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL), defenceman Cale Makar of the Brooks Bandits (AJHL) and goaltender Nate McDonald of the Powassan Voodoos (NOJHL) have been named its Gongshow Gear 3 Stars of the Month for November.

1ST STAR: GRYSON REITMEIER, (F) FLIN FLON BOMBERS (SJHL) – Competing in nine games last month the 20-year-old Nakusp, B.C., product etched his name on the scoresheet in all of them averaging two points-per-game for the Bombers totalling eight goals and 10 assists during the time frame.

Among the highlights was a hat trick against the Kindersley Klippers on Nov. 24 that sparked a run of six points in three outings helping him earn SJHL player of the month honours for November.

Entering play this weekend, Reitmeier is sporting a solid 12-game point streak in which he has scored 11 times and helped set-up 14 others.

The Flin Flon forward is also presently third in SJHL offensive production with 39 points in 30 games.

Makar currently leads all AJHL blueliners in scoring this season with 38 points on 11 tallies and 27 helpers.

The 18-year-old from Calgary, Alta., has three game-winning goals for the Bandits to date and was also selected to play for Team Canada West at the upcoming World Junior A Challenge in Bonnyville, Alta.

Currently riding a six-game point streak, Makar is on the NHL Central Scouting Watch List for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

He has also committed to attend NCAA D-I University of Massachusetts on scholarship.

During November he registered a stingy 1.66 goals-against average along with a solid .939 save percentage.

The 17-year-old native of North Bay, Ont., was a member of Team NOJHL at the recently completed Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge in Cornwall, Ont., and has come away victorious in his last 12 regular season appearances for the league-leading Voodoos, who were fifth in the latest CJHL rankings.
